This video shows how to wirelessly read measurements of Sylvac Depth Gage on iPad using DialReadPad App with WiMER 2.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION OF THE WIMER-2:
WiMER-20 is the WiMER designed for Fowler/Sylvac users. It collects readings from Fowler/Sylvac instruments with RS232 outputs and transmits data wirelessly via Bluetooth Low Energy to iPhone/iPad. With the help of USB Bluetooth Dongle and our FREE software, WiMER-20 can also wirelessly send instrument readings to any Windows PC. WiMER-20 is also able to power the instrument connected to it if needed.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION OF DIALREADPAD:
DialReadPad app is the iPad version of DialRead. It connects to the Motionics WiMER Series 1 , WiMER Series 2, WiMER Series 3 , and reads the readings from Mitutoyo and Fowler/Sylvac dial indicators, calipers, micrometers and linear gage (Please check WiMER pages for compatible instruments).
This system allows you to have a wireless bluetooth measurement device and read the values directly from your iPad.
PDF report option is available after each test. Users can easily generate test report including test information, machine image, waveform plot, polar plot, custom note, GPS location and signature. PDF report can be saved in local database, or exported via email or wirelessly printed.
This app requires the bluetooth measurement device to test but can be fully tested with all its features from the "Run Demo" page of the App.
