Expert’s Voice | Superb rococo carvings by Andries Everhard Franck

Stood in the Lutheran Church in The Hague, surrounded by decorations by Andries Everhard Franck, our expert Frederik Knegtel presents three models from the hand of Franck. These superb giltwood group of statues, depicting King David and two putti, were Franck’s preparatory work for sculptures seen here on top of the organ.

These three models are included in our Home & Interiors: Antique Furniture & Design, Ceramics & Decorative Art online auction. Bidding is underway on our website and is possible from 22 November to 14 December. On 14 December, the auction will close from 8 PM (CET) onwards.
