UNICEF & NTV today launch major campaign for Ugandan children

The United Nation's Children's Agency, UNICEF and NTV today launched a major campaign for children in Uganda. The campaign, marked by the Twitter hashtag #InvestInUGchildren, is aimed at realizing Uganda's vision for 2040, and will highlight the many issues currently affecting children across Uganda. It will also focus on how they must be addressed, for Uganda to realize its vision of becoming a modern, competitive and prosperous, upper middle-income country by 2040. Both organizations will work together to launch joint initiatives that benefit children as well as cover major international days and events. This also includes Universal Children's Day on November 20th this year, which is the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
