The man of science comes face to face with his most terrifying opponent -- the future. The Murdoch Effect is a six-by-four-minute original series for web or broadcast created as an extension of the fifth season of one-hour drama series Murdoch Mysteries. The online adventure finds Detective William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) waking up in modern-day Toronto after being accidentally knocked unconscious, only to discover that he must solve the same case -- the kidnapping of a real estate heiress -- in two different time periods.
