When we think about the effects of nuclear war, we think of the land, the scorched earth, black trees and charred streets, but the ocean is just as susceptible to radiation and nuclear waste as any other place, leading to adverse effects and questionable creatures such as the Mirelurk. But what is a Mirelurk and why do so many different creatures seem to share the same name?
