Work in Kiwifruit Packhouse in
Work in Kiwifruit Packhouse in New Zealand, Packhouse workers grade, pack and store fruit, vegetables and other produce in packhouses.
Each bag of kiwifruit is poured into wooden crates (bins) which are then transported onto a truck. That truck is then taking the kiwifruit to a packhouse to be sorted, packed and ready to hit the stores!
follow Justin to the impressive machine that glues and folds the kiwifruit boxes together. While one person loads up the machine with different parts of the box, another takes the made-up boxes out of the end of the machine, checks them, then stacks them on a towering pile. Again, this is a job where backpackers can be paid per box
