With Covid cases keep popping
With Covid cases keep popping up on the east coast of Australia it took me a lot of effort to finally get into WA to film this train review! I'm so excited!
The Prospector is operated by TransWA, the current rolling stocks are Transwa WDA class, they entered service in 2004. The new railcars are capable of reaching 200 km/h (124 mph), but track conditions have restricted their top speed to 160km/h (99 mph). From Perth to Kalgoorlie, travelling at an average speed of 95km/h, no other passenger train in Australia can cover such distance in this amount of time. What does the train look like?
