In a competitive and often siloed working style, the collaborative aspect is somewhat lost, and teams tend to miss out on the big picture. Highlighting the above fact, "The Big Collage" activity identifies the importance and fundamentals of coming together as" One Team" and having a common, larger vision with artistic elements in place. Art is used as a catalyst to bring out the desired outcomes.
A detailed brief is given to all participants, after which the teams are provided with individual team designs, canvases, colours, brushes, etc. Each team works on their individual design using the art equipment, which will eventually be combined to make "The Big Collage."
Collaborative approach, Project management and building effective teams require skills such as communication, sharing and effective use of resources, identifying strengths, and working on areas for improvement. 'The Big Collage' is a classic example of inculcating such core competencies.
