Spooky deep sea mystery [The golden orb]

Just in time for halloween, we have a spooky unsolved deep sea mystery! While exploring the Gulf of Alaska, NOAA scientists came across this weird golden orb - and it completely stumped them! Was it coral, a sponge, an egg? Even after suctioning it up to the surface, they still had no idea what it was. The deep sea never fails to astound!
