Vanderbilt gives students room to grow | Jada Finley, Class of 2024 | Dare to Grow

Vanderbilt scholarship recipient, researcher and poet, Jada Finley, Class of 2024, is in a moment of evolution. Inspired by Vanderbilt's culture of exploration and daring to grow, she knows the possibilities for self-discovery are unlimited. Finley is part of a research group in Peabody College's Mood, Emotion and Development Lab, that hopes to help prevent depression in young children and she is also sharing her own journey to overcome depression in an autobiographical poetry book.  Support for Vanderbilt's Dare to Grow campaign creates access for students like Finley to stretch their roots and realize their full potential.
