In the 1970's starting when I was 18 years old I gold mined with an old timer who was in his late 70's. We mined on Clear Creek in Shasta County California.
We mined there for 3 years before the land owner died.

Years before we partnered up he mined on private property on Cottonwood creek and found a motherload of artifacts weathering out of the creek bank. A lot of those items were from the 1849 gold rush. I ended up with a good portion of his collection.

A few years later I had a brick and mortar rock shop for 20 years and I bought a lot of old rock collections. Almost  all of the old rockhounds also collected artifacts and I ended up with quite a few from those old collections.

These have all been in this old storage van and haven't seen the light of day for 30 years so I decided it was time to find them new homes.

The three pieces in the still pictures here are worth what I'm asking for the entire collection. The red dance blade, and the Salmon Club/Scepter Mace came from Cottonwood Creek. The Slave Killer/Zoomorph came from an estate in Eureka California.

If you're interested in this collection message me. There is a story for nearly every artifact. Too much to write here. At some point I will do a voice over video.
