Here is my recipe for Cornbread.
Preheat Oven to 400degrees
Melt 1/3 Cup of Butter on a Cast Iron Skillet
Mix 1 Cup of All-Purpose Flour, 1 Cup of Corn Meal, 2/3 Cup of Sugar, 1 tsp of salt, 3 1/2 tsp of Baking Powder, 1 Cup of Whole Milk, 1 Large Egg, and Melted Butter.
Pour Batter in to Skillet and Bake for 20-25 Minutes.
Check for doneness with a toothpick.
Let Rest for 15-30 minutes on counter.
ENJOY!!!
