It should be unlawful for law enforcement to mute the microphones of their body worn cameras. Law enforcement officers should be lawfully required to record both audio and video from start to finish of an incident. The only entity that should be able to redact portions of a BWC recording should be the custodian of the public records. All redactions made to BWC recordings by the records custodian should be authorized by Florida State Statute only.
