BMW N20 (Z4) No Start When Hot Fix

My BMW Z4 has suffered from bad starts when warm even since I swapped the engine. It has been a 2 year journey of me trying to fix this hesitation on starts and after trying over 15 different things, I finally solved it! An engine that is hard to start when hot is a different item to troubleshoot as it can be so many different items. It could be a bad high pressure fuel pump or the fuel pressure sensor, it can be related to electronics where the crankshaft position sensor is fault or the camshaft sensor is sending false data to the DME. It can be as simple as a loose ground or positive wire on the engine, starter or the alternator and even injectors can make a huge difference to how an engine starts. On this BMW N20 engine, resolving the hard to start when warm was accidental and nothing I would even look for without changing the starter as a result of failure.
