In this tutorial you are going to learn how to reset google gmail password which is the same as resetting the password for your entire Google Account.
Step # 1 -- Accessing the Password Reset Area
In your preferred internet browser navigate to "https://accounts.google.com". On the right you will see the "Sign in" box, at the bottom of this there is a link which reads "Can't access your account?", click on this.
Step # 2 -- Sending the Password Reset Email
You will be taken to a page that will ask you what your log in issue is, check the box "I don't know my password" and enter your email address into the box below and then click "Continue". In the next window click "Continue" again. Google will then confirm that an email has been sent to you with password reset instructions.
Step # 3 -- Completing the Reset
Go to your email account and open the email from "Google Account Recovery". In this email there will be a long link which you need to click on. This will take you to a page where you can enter a new password, do this. This is how to reset google gmail password and you will be told that the process has been successful on the next page.
