Peanut Oil Extraction by Soxhlet Apparatus.

Soxhlet apparatus consists of round bottom flask, thimble, condenser. Solvent is heated and vapours moves upward and condense when come in contact with condenser and then they move down to the crushed peanuts and extract oil. solvent and oil together go to the flask back again and process continues until all oil is extracted out. n-hexane is use as solvent for the extraction of oils.
