The military and the government shutdown

In the military will not get paid after October 15 if the government shuts down, but you will get backpay. If you are TDY or PCS ing, expect your move or school to be canceled. If you were National Guard / Reserve, you will not have drill during the government shut down. USA and Navy Federal Credit Union have paycheck assistance programs to get you through the next couple of weeks.
