An Evidence Pyramid is an important component of an Evidence-Based Practice. The Evidence Pyramid shows the varying levels of confidence that different kinds of evidence provide. At the bottom of the pyramid are the kinds of evidence that give the least confidence, and at the top of the pyramid are the kinds of evidence that give the most confidence. Different professions have different Evidence Pyramids depending on the kinds of evidence that are relevant the profession.
