So I thought I'd share how I usually isolate dialogue audio from scenes with songs in and remove the background noise.
Software Used:
Adobe Premier Pro
Adobe Audition
Song: Tropical Smoothie by Joey Pecoraro
Tutorial Steps:
In Premier Pro - Pick your clip, right click, select 'Edit clip in Adobe Audition'.
In Audition: choose 'Effects' then 'Stereo Imagery' then 'Centre Channel Extractor.
Then choose Acapella. Export file as an mp3 on your desktop, drag & drop onto Premier Pro and boom, you're done!
