This dramatic mountain scenery, combined with numerous lookout points and activities, has made Grindelwald a beloved destination for travelers. It's also the largest ski resort in the Jungfrau region.
With 300 km of hiking trails, Grindelwald offers some of the most scenic walks in the area. One of the most popular routes leads from Grindelwald-First, past the stunning Bachalpsee, up to the Faulhorn mountain hotel, and then onward to the Schynige Platte. For a more leisurely hike with extraordinary views of the famous Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains, take the gentle path from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg.
