This lecture series is about a general introduction to  Mediaeval and Modern Philosophy. Through which students will understand the basic nature of Mediaeval and Modern Philosophy.
On the complition of the course the students will be able to build up the foundation of Philosophical understanding about Mediaeval and Modern Philosophy, under which students will acquire basic understanding about the Mediaeval and Modern Philosophy and they can also understand the ultimate objectives of human life.

Objectives of Mediaeval and Modern Philosophy  is to:
This course offers an overview of the key developments in the history of philosophical thought from Jed to 18th CE.

It introduces dents so various ways in which philosophers engaged with, debáted, contested the established
ways of thinking about universe, reality, knowledge, mind, body, society, freedom, God.

To expose students to the major debates concerns human existence in mediaeval and modern times - existential, ethical and epistemological challenges.

Understand the origin and nature of Mediaeval and Modern Philosophy . And also it introduce students with classical understanding about Mediaeval and Modern Philosophy.

It also inculcates a sense of spirit of Mediaeval and Modern Philosophy  and its other dimensions related to God, Man and Universe.

The course would enable students to:

By the cnd of the course students are expected to be familiar with the greatest intellectual challenges in medieval and modern times and philosopher's responses to them.

Students shall learn how canonical western thinkers reconciled traditional Greek philosophy and religion with the radical scientific developments of modernity.

Revaluate the various paradigms of understanding human existence, knowledge, freedom , power, responsibility, authority.

To develop a sense of how philosophy works as a critique.
