Gold is not evenly distributed through any stream or drainage. Gold placers are almost always spotty – they are often naturally rich in few spots and poor in a large number of areas along the stream. To find those good spots, you need to be able to read the river and see where the good places are, and that is what this video is about - How to read a river for gold.
