Born in Iowa and raised in a “hole in the ground with buildings around it,” Corey Taylor is one of the most recognizable figures and respected performers in hard rock and heavy metal. He’s also one of the hardest working. In addition to being the front man of not one but two multi-platinum acts — Slipknot (30 million album sales worldwide and counting) and Stone Sour (5 million album sales and counting) — Corey has another band named CMFT; performs acoustic and spoken-word shows all over the world; has emceed major events; and has written four books, all of which have made the prestigious New York Times Best Sellers list.
