Are you a last mile delivery driver in B.C.? Watch this educational video to learn about common hazards you might face on the job, and how to control the risks.
More couriers are on the job today delivering a wide array of goods to businesses and homes throughout British Columbia. That’s why it’s more important than ever that last mile delivery drivers know how to continually assess for changing risks. From staying clear of objects on the sidewalk to using the crosswalk instead of taking shortcuts, workers delivering packages need to be able to quickly assess the situation, identify hazards, and take steps to avoid harm.
Whether it's your first week or you’re an experienced driver, health and safety on the job matters. The videos in our Safety With Every Step series are helpful training tools for all workers in the delivery industry, including casual gig economy workers. Safety works best when everyone has a voice.
