AAP leader and Delhi Minister Gopal Rai addressed a press conference on April 03. The Environment Minister lauded the Supreme Court’s decision after the top court granted bail to AAP MP Sanjay Singh. He went on to say that Sanjay Singh was arrested illegally and his bail was the first and biggest loss of the BJP’s political conspiracy.
Delhi Minster and party leader Gopal Rai said, “Supreme Court has granted bail to Sanjay Singh, and the ED was speechless before the SC. Sanjay Singh was in jail for 6 months. No evidence or money trail was found. You locked him up for six months on the basis of allegations. Who levelled the allegations? The one who you forced and threatened into becoming an approver. He told you nine times that he (Sanjay Singh) has no role in the liquor policy case. He was forced to become an approver and got a forced confession from him, following which he (Sanjay Raut) was jailed. You have jailed the Chief Minister too on the basis of similar allegations. Your agency couldn't find any evidence for 2 years. Still, the BJP is adamant about arresting us and putting us behind bars. Sanjay Singh's bail is the first and biggest loss of the BJP's political conspiracy. These conspiracies will be further exposed.”
