A little black dress is
A little black dress is one of the most versatile wardrobe basics in your closet. If you’re able to find the RIGHT black dress, you can wear it year-round and for pretty much any occasion. BUT finding the perfect LBD can be tricky and time-consuming. Which is why I’m super excited to share this one that I recently found from @me_andem!
The best part of this dress is definitely the fabric. It’s a ponte knit fabric that’s wrinkle-resistant (great for travel) and thick and structured to hide any imperfections, but still breathable to keep you cool. The silhouette is also very flattering. (I love a fit and flare dress!) The v-neckline creates an elongating effect, and the seam details around the waist give you a beautiful hourglass shape. I love that the dress has cap sleeves, to soften the shoulders and provide some arm coverage. The sleeves and longer length also make this dress office-appropriate if you’re searching for that perfect black work dress. Oh…and it has pockets! The dress does run small, so I recommend ordering one size up.
