How do you explore the Marin Headlands and Rodeo Beach? Let us show you our day trip to the Marin Headlands and Rodeo Beach.
We spent the weekend in San Francisco, for the main purposes of attending an outdoor music event (In which only half the tickets were sold due to the pandemic). The next day, a Saturday, we needed to do something and explore the area. After some research, we made the decision to go to a place we have never been, and that is the beautiful Marin Headlands and Rodeo Beach.
First, what a find in Rodeo Beach! The weather in November was spectacular. Typically, with our SippyCupAdventures, we bring our beach gear, but, we didn't this trip, well, because the weather was not going to be "beach" weather, or so we thought.
If you go to Rodeo Beach, the parking is free, and there are plenty of parking spots. You can bring your dog unleashed and be sure to do some beach combing. Patti found some real gems.
When in San Francisco, you really need to explore the Marin Headlands and Rodeo Beach and Fort Mason as there is a ton of history. A drive to the Marin Headlands is a must. Bring a picninc and enjoy the wonderful views of San Francisco.
