كلمة لاتينية يونانية تعني الغليان والفوران، وتعني في اللغة العربية الحساسية، وهي مرض جلدي ناتج عن التهاب الجلد التأتبي حيث يتم فيها التهاب الطبقات العليا من الجلد بسبب عدم تحمل الجلد للظروف الداخليّة والخارجيّة، وهي من أكثر الأمراض الجلدية انتشاراً بين مختلف الفئات العمرية إلّا أنها أكثر انتشاراً بين الأطفال.
أعراض الاكزيما
حكة وقد تبدأ قبل ظهور الطفح الجلدين وقد تكون هذه الحكة مصاحبةً لبعض الآلام تظهر في الليل بالعادة، كما قد ينتج من الحكة الجروح والتقرحات التي تغطيها الجُلبات.
الطفح الجلدي الذي يكون يكون عبارة عن بقعٍ جافة وما حولها أسمك من الوضع الطبيعي، ويتراوح لونها ما بين الأحمر والبني الرمادي، وبشكلٍ عام نجدها تنتشر على اليدين والعنق والوجه والرجلين، وقد تظهر على الجهة الداخلية من مفاصل الركبتين والمرفقين عند الأطفال. جفاف الجلد وتضخمه وتقشره.
أسباب الإصابة بالأكزيما
تختلف الأسباب التي تقود للإصابة بالأكزيما باختلاف أنواعها، فقد تكون:
وراثية كما هو الحال مع الربو.
الضغط النفسي ويزيد من تفاقم الأكزيما.
التعامل مع الأقمشة الاصطناعية والصوف.
استخدام الصابون والمنظفات لاحتوائها على مواد كيميائية.
التعرُّق الشديد والتعرُّض للحرارة.
علاج الأكزيما
يعد مرض الأكزيما من الأمراض التي لا تشفى حيث أنها تظهر كرد فعل للجسم على شيءٍ ما ولكن يمكن المحافظة على عدم انتشارها من خلال:
* المحافظة على ترطيب الجلد وحمايته من الجفاف.
* عدم تناول الأطعمة التي قد تزيد من تفاقم الأكزيما كالبيض والمكسرات والحبوب وبعض الانواع من المكسرات بالإضافة إلى مشتقات الحليب أو منتجات الصويا.
* الابتعاد عن الأمور التي تثير الأكزيما وتحفزها كالقفازات المطاطية.
* قص أظافر اليدين باستمرار وذلك للوقاية من جرح الجلد عن حكه.
* التقليل من التعرض لمواد التنظيف من خلال لبس القفازات المبطة بالقطن.

* Not eating foods that may aggravate eczema, such as eggs, nuts, grains, and some types of nuts, in addition to milk or soy products.
* Stay away from things that stimulate and stimulate eczema, such as rubber gloves.
* Cut the fingernails constantly, to prevent the skin from getting itchy.
* Reducing exposure to cleaning agents by wearing cotton-padded gloves.
