This is a toy Seagrave fire engine that I have customized with LED lights, siren and a hose bed. I like vintage emergency lights and the grandfather of all lightbars, the Federal Twinsonic, is my favorite. So, I designed the lightbar on the cab to look like a Twinsonic. The two rear "mini-lightbars" are designed to look like the early model Federal Aerodynic lightbars. The front of the truck has what looks like a Code 3 "Stinger." This is an attention getting light that used a sealed beam with two gearmotors to form a random "figure 8." I removed everything from the inside of this toy and cut away the simulated hosebed. I welded a hosebed from aluminum and joined it with epoxy to the plastic truck. I added all of the electronics and miniature magnets to the pump panel and rear discharges. There is also a recessed discharge on the right front for a "jump line" and a recessed magnet under the "Stinger" to receive water from the hydrant. The yellow hose (shoe string) serves as the large diameter hose for "water supply" and the white hose (shoe string) serves as the "attack line." The attack line has a miniature nozzle on the end. Eventually, the truck will have one rack of supply line and three attack lines on the rear. A short section of supply line and a jump line will be on the front. I cut all of the numbers with an Exacto knife out of reflective material. This truck is a product of my imagination and is not intended to be an exact replica of any departments vehicle. However, any resemblance to a particular department's vehicles is intentional.
