SNCF Trains in Nice, Monaco & Cannes, France

Back in July of 2016, me and my family went to Nice, France. It is a beautiful place to visit and it also has a nice railway system. The city of Nice is located in the South of France and while I was there I made the most of the railway system while I was there.

The is a mixture of loco hauled and electric EMU's in use in Nice, I never seen any diesel DMU's or locomotives when I was there which I found strange, nearly all of the railway system in France is electric. The railways in France are operated by SNCF (Société nationale des chemins de fer français; "National society of French railways")

I would recommend the city of Nice to any rail enthusiast, there is some very interesting stock that is in use. The city also has its own tram system too. The city is also very scenic too and its a brilliant place to visit.
