There are different shortcuts/methods to
There are different shortcuts/methods to copy a file path as a link or to create shortcut folder or file. Watch this 1 minute tutorial & save time in creating shortcuts on Windows.
Method 1: Create shortcut folder of an already opened folder
Left-click & hold (press mouse left button & hold) on the folder icon in the windows address bar. Then, drag and release the mouse left button to create the shortcut folder anywhere you want.
Method 2: Create shortcut folder or file
When you've already opened the Windows explorer, then you could easily copy, move, or create link, shortcut folder or file of the folders and files inside the folder. By simply left clicking and dragging any file or folder, you can copy without holding any key, Move by holding the shift key or create shortcut by holding the alt key.
Note: When you delete a shortcut file or folder, the original file or folder is "not" deleted!
I forgot to mention in the video - When dragging a folder or file within the same drive and if the default is "Move" instead of "Copy", then if you hold Ctrl key, it'll change to copy.
