The height is 420 feet. 127 m. Located near the 16th mile post on the road from Yatiyantota Malapola to Sipon, this beautiful waterfall divides into two parts due to the wooden bridge over it.
It is the oldest wooden bridge currently in use in Sri Lanka
This is the wooden bridge across the Olu Ella.
During the rainy season, water flows over the wooden bridge and joins the river. The waterfall is formed by a tributary of the Vee Oya. Vee Oya finally joins the Kelani River.
It is made up of four small waterfalls and is 60 feet wide. The waterfalls vary in speed and magnitude.
