Learn how to install a 3 Color LED Tailgate Light Bar on your truck or SUV. Kevin Tetz guides you through the step-by-step DIY installation. The LED strip lighting is available in 49" and 60" versions to fit the rear of virtually any Chevy, GMC, Ford or Dodge truck or SUV.
This LED light strip is an easy-to-install plug-and-play light-bar solution for trucks with a 4-wire plug (trailer plug), and it can be easily hard-wired if needed. The LED tailgate light bar has full-width red lighting with two stages of brightness for running lights and brake lights, plus amber strips at both ends for turn signals and a large, white strip in the middle for reverse (this also adds to rearward visibility when backing up at night, especially with a backup camera). The rear LED light bar doesn’t replace factory lighting, it works along with your truck’s existing lights.
