The construction of the Ram
The construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is proceeding at a rapid pace, with senior functionaries monitoring the progress on a daily basis. The temple authorities are hopeful that the construction will be completed by October this year.
The construction work began in 2020, following the Supreme Court's verdict in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid case. Since then, the work has been progressing steadily, with over 50% of the construction already completed.
The temple is being built in accordance with the traditional Vaastu Shastra guidelines, and it is expected to be a magnificent structure. It will be a three-storeyed building, with the sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor. The sanctum sanctorum will house the idols of Lord Ram, Sita, and Lakshman.
