A quick tutorial on How to Set Boundary Width and Test the Receiver Collar of the Premier Pet™ In-Ground Fence™ System.
The Premier Pet™ In-Ground Fence™ lets you and your pet safely enjoy your yard, keeping your pet contained within a boundary customized by you. Use it to contain your dog in your entire yard, a partial area of your yard, or even keep your dog out of special areas, such as gardens or a pool. The system works by sending a signal through the wire, from the transmitter inside your home, that the receiver collar picks up. As your dog approaches the wire wearing the collar, it will issue a warning tone to remind him/her to turn around. If your dog continues towards the wire, the collar will deliver a static correction, at the level you choose that works best for your dog’s temperament. After two weeks of training, your dog will understand the boundaries and be able to enjoy the yard safely and freely.
