Recording of a conversation between President Nixon and H.R. ("Bob") Haldeman about the Watergate investigation. President Nixon approves a plan to use the Central Intelligence Agency to prevent the FBI from investigating Nixon campaign contributions that had been used to fund the Watergate break-in. The conversation from which this segment was taken became known as the "Smoking Gun" after its transcript was publicly released in August 1974. (Caution: This clip contains adult language.)
