Curious Couple: Snapping Shrimp & Watchman Goby

The curious relationship between a fish and shrimp in the South China Sea. A Pink-speckled Shrimpgoby and a Snapping Shrimp live together in perfect harmony. The Shrimp has poor eyesight but spends most of the day tidying the entrance to his burrow to attract a mate. The goby keeps an eye out for predators and makes sure the shrimp can safely go about his business. When the time comes, the shrimp will allow the goby to lay its eggs in his burrow. A mutually beneficial relationship between two very different animals. Filmed on a GoPro Hero 4.
