The holy shrine of Badrinath in Uttarakhand opens for pilgrimage in April Or May. The Badrinath opening date are declared by the chief priest on the auspicious day of Basant Panchami every year.
CLOSING DATES
Shrine closes by November Mid every year for winters. The dates are declared on Vijay Dashmi or Dussehra by the chief priest
BEST TIME TO VISIT
The best time to visit the Badrinath temple is from April/May to June and September to October/November. Taking a trip during monsoons involves the risks of floods, landslides and other monsoon related problems.
