Deep Dropping in Panama! BIG RED GROUPER

We have recently started exploring deeper reefs looking for more species to jig up. We quickly have gotten dialed in on these red grouper (gulf coney). We have been catching them in large numbers and they seem to be very plentiful. Every one of them has been caught on artificial and mostly SPJ!

We are starting to explore other techniques and find more species such as the Star Studded Grouper which gets much larger along with larger tilefish and who knows what else! Want to give it a try with us?? My next trip is July 9-15 and 16-22. We only have a few spots claimed. It will be a perfect week to try this! I am even planning on brining some electric reels if anyone wants to try.
