The Emergency Vehicle Operators Course
The Emergency Vehicle Operators Course Training for the B.I.P.D. The officers are trained on a series of exercises including:
HIGH SPEED PURSUIT SCENARIOS
SKID CAR TRAINING
PURSUIT IMMOBILIZATION TECHNIQUE (The P.I.T. Maneuver)
Exclusive access to the yearly training was granted to Anchor and Reporter Tyler Griffin, who also was involved in the training with other Police officers.
