Vlog 59 - Lexus GX470 Snorkel Install

Excited to get the snorkel installed on the GX once I realized mud was getting into the lower portion of the air box. Most likely you won't need a snorkel on stock GX's, especially if you're not in a swampy climate like Florida where trails are mostly dry. The main reasons I needed one was the loss of my fender liner when I cut it for the armored bumper and the fact that trails here in Florida are covered in water in certain areas. So if you've cut or removed your fender liner, keep an eye on your airbox to see if water is getting in there. If it does, you might need a snorkel for your GX.

This install was somewhat of a pain, but not too bad once you get started. If you follow these instructions you should save yourself all the learning curve I encountered and reduce your install time and frankly stress levels LOL.
