I've done a lot of research investigating what is the relationship between leadership and communication. And what I've concluded is that leadership is communication. There are research studies that show that employees are more engaged in the workplace - do better work, they associate their identity more with their organization if they have leaders who communicate well. If they have leaders who give them tasks in a clear and concise manner, leaders who demonstrate they actually care about them. That is the key to retention in our organization and also great leadership
