Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah flags off 100 new BMTC electric buses | The Federal

In a groundbreaking move towards sustainable urban transportation, the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has unveiled plans to introduce 1,300 new electric buses in Karnataka. As part of the project, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inaugurated 100 BMTC electric buses at the Vidhana Soudha on Tuesday. The initiative is a key component of the Union government's Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles (FAME-II) scheme.
