Resin and concrete is one
Resin and concrete is one of my favourite combinations, and in this project I use two different pigment techniques to create a layered resin base for a concrete planter and tealight holder, using nothing more than the bottom of a plastic bottle for the mould.
Please note that you will need a silicone release spray to coat the inside of the plastic bottle in order to remove the resin casting without too much fuss.
You can use a ready-mixed concrete if you prefer, but in this video I use a common crafting concrete recipe, which is just 2 parts sand to 1 part cement.
