Hadleigh has his enemies, among them Gregory Baker, with whom he has crossed swords before and who now has a personal reason for wanting revenge. The bait he is offering is unusual and tempting, but Hadleigh is being tempted in more ways than one; the enigmatic Stella Clisby (Myra Frances) reappears. Coincidence? There was a short article about Myra Frances in the TV Times for the week (3 Apr 76) about how she enjoyed playing the bitch. She remarked “I wouldn’t want to be cast as a sweet, soft little secretary creature. The better parts are not usually nice people.”Another very strong episode, Baker wants revenge but Hadleigh wants revenge too. First broadcast Friday 9th April 1976.
