My quest for the best iOS mixer with multitrack USB audio
I'm looking for the best iOS mixer for my hybrid, iPad/hardware music production studio. It needs to be usb compliant (no need for drivers), can record more than 12 inputs simultaneously and have hardware faders and knobs (not just a touch screen). If possible also the mixer should be able to record by itself, offering a real dawless experience. In this video I go through comparing the Mackie Onyx 12,16, 24, Presonus Ar12c, AR16c, Studiolive 16.0.2 USB, the Tascam model 12, 16, 24 and the Zoom L-12, L-20. All of them are great mixers but can they answer my hybrid iOS Hardware music studio needs?
