During a House floor speech, Lauren Boebert singled out the Biden administration’s Assistant Secretary of Defense for Readiness, Shawn Skelly, because she’s transgender. Boebert not only introduced an amendment to reduce Skelly’s salary down to $1, but she repeatedly misgendered her and attacked her for being trans. Democratic lawmaker Betty McCollum quickly condemned Boebert’s vile hate speech, which led to a subsequent back and forth between the two lawmakers. In this video we’ll talk about Boebert’s despicable, dehumanizing bigotry and discuss the increasing level of cruelty of anti-trans bigots.
