Origin of Metatron: Ancient Archangel and New Age Figure

Metatron is an ancient mythical figure that is used in modern day new age practices. His origins date back to Jewish writings from the Late Antiquity period and he even was portrayed by a famous actor recently. In addition to all of this, Metatron even has a sacred shape named after him. This shape, Metatron's Cube, is said to clear one's mind of negative thoughts. Not too bad!
