Will Annealing Flex PLA Help Airless Basketball Durability?

We have been printing a lot of airless basketballs out of the ataraxia flex PLA lately, and while we have had good bounce results, the durability just doesn’t seem to hold up well. This made us wonder, would annealing the flexible PLA help the durability of the basketballs? In this video, we start by annealing 2 separate basketballs and basketball files to test if we can pass a 500 bounce durability test (which we have not been able to do with any other flex PLA basketballs) We will be focusing on more flexible filament in the near future, so be sure to subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss out on any future videos! Printer: Bambu Lab P1S
Generic PLA Profile
Nozzle Temperature: 220C
Bed Temperature: 60C
Speed: 40 mm/s
Walls: 4
Infill: 50% gyroid infill
Support settings: I had to paint the custom supports on the bottom of the basketball in Bambu Studio.
