The current method for dock starting takes time to learn, and I’m not very good at it. We want to fly longer and farther on a hydrofoil, but we also want an easier way to start it. We’ve tried a number of different starting techniques and contraptions and have arrived a foil launcher we like. In this video, we share our favorite dock start foil launcher, describe how to use it, and share the details of how to build it for less than $80. All of the items you need are listed below.
